God’s Phrase does offer the erring Christian renewed fellowship and fruitful relationship with God. He graciously says, “My little children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God’s law and sin; but when anyone ought to sin, we have now an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father; (it is) Jesus Christ (the all) righteous — upright, just, Who conforms to the Father’s will in each objective, thought and motion” (I John 2:1 ANT).
Daily forgiveness keeps a man mentally healthy. He not needs to think of the previous and its sin. The Christian counselor, through the use of God’s Phrase, can direct the counselee to for-giveness and fellowship with Christ. God assures us, “Now ye are clear through the phrase which I’ve spoken unto you” (John 15:three). It is the counselor’s unique privilege, through use of the Bible, to provide unerring direction.
